Contract of Marriage of a Mute Person

A man was given a trial by God in the form of silence and an idiot, but he wanted to get married. How did he do the marriage contract that would be permitted by the Shari'a? Please note this person cannot read and cannot write.

Answer:

Mute people can get married with understood signals, as he did when he wanted to eat, wanted to drink and all his activities, because the signals understood in these activities occupied a speaking role for him.
