The Law of Using Lubricants for Jimak (Sex)

After a review of the book review "Fikh Contemporary Women's Health", a woman who was estimated to be close to 60 years old asked specifically directly,

"What is the law for using lubricants to treat?"

The answer is: OK

As long as it is not medically harmful. The law of origin of world affairs is permissible as the following fiqhiyyah rules.

الأصل في الأشياء الإباحة

"The law of origin (world affairs) is permissible"

Likewise the fatwa from Shabakah Islamiyah in the care of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Faqih. Question:

ﻫﻨﺎﻙ ﺣﺮﺝ ﻣﻦ ﺍﺳﺘﻌﻤﺎﻝ ﺯﻳﺖ ﺍﻟﺰﻳﺘﻮﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺩﻫﻦ ﺍﻟﻔﺮﺝ ﻟﻠﻌﻤﻠﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺠﻨﺴﻴﺔ ﺑﻐﺮﺽ ﺗﺴﻬﻴﻞ ﺍﻹﻳﻼﺝ ﻓﺄﺭﺟﻮ ﺍﻹﻓﺎﺩﺓ؟

"Can you not use olive oil as a lubricating oil on the genitals to facilitate conjugal relations?"

ﻓﺈﻧﻪ ﻳﺠﻮﺯ ﺍﺳﺘﻌﻤﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﺰﻳﺖ ﻋﻦ ﻃﺮﻳﻖ ﺩﻫﻦ ﺍﻟﻔﺮﺝ ﺑﻪ ﺑﻞ ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺠﻤﺎﻉ ، ﺑﻞ ﻗﺪ ﻳﺴﺘﺤﺐ ﺫﻟﻚ ﺣﺘﻰ ﺗﺴﻬﻞ ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺠﻤﺎﻉ ﻭﻻ ﻳﺘﺄﻟﻢ ﺃﺣﺪ ﺍﻟﺰﻭﺟﻴﻦ. ﻫﺬﺍ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺣﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺸﺮﻋﻴﺔ ، ﻭﺃﻣﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﻮﻉ - ﺯﻳﺖ ﺍﻟﺰﻳﺘﻮﻥ - ﻳﺴﺄﻝ ﻓﻴﻪ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻻﺧﺘﺼﺎﺹ ، ﻭﻫﻞ ﺍﺳﺘﻌﻤﺎﻟﻪ ﻋﻨﺪ ﺍﻟﺠﻤﺎﻉ ﻳﻀﺮ ﺍﻟﺒﺪﻥ ﺃﻡ ﻻ.
ﻭﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺃﻋﻠﻢ

"It is possible to use oil to lubricate the genitals to make it easier to eat, even sometimes it is recommended that sexual relations be easy and one husband and wife do not experience pain. This is from the side of the Shari'a, as for the medical side of the use of olive oil it is necessary to ask the experts, whether this use can endanger the body or not "(Fatwa Syabakah Islamiyyah no. 17752).

Medically using olive oil as a lubricant

Some sources say that some natural oils such as olive oil and coconut oil can be used as lubricants when having sex, but we are more calm to suggest if there has been scientific research on using olive oil as a lubricant. Scientific research will eliminate the possibility of "coincidental coincidences" and can be used for a variety of circumstances and types and to examine their long-term effects if used continuously.

It should be noted if you want to use olive oil as a lubricant when having sex:

1. Users are not allergic or have skin problems with olive oil. So it is safe when used as a lubricant.
2. Some sources say that olive oil can damage condoms and can make it easily torn so it needs to be considered when using it as a lubricant.
3. Use pure olive oil. Not broken or mixed with other ingredients.
4. Olive oil can also leave stains and make clothes feel oily

Pure coconut oil and no additives

That said, lubricating fluid from virgin coconut oil is thought to cause allergies to the skin and genital organs.

We suggest that you use water-based lubricants that are friendly to the body, practical and easy to clean. Lubricants with water-based ingredients are quite easy to find in pharmacies and other markets. The lack of lubricant that comes out in women can be caused by several things:

1. Women are not really ready to have intercourse so that the lubricant has not come out and need to "warm up" enough and slowly.
2. Women feel uncomfortable when having an intimate relationship, feeling scared or worried or other uncomfortable atmosphere.
3. There are certain diseases that can affect the release of lubricants in women

If this continues, it is better to take the obstetrician and gynecologist for examination.

So hopefully useful
